By using Kochi Directory you accept these terms. If you submit a business, you accept them on behalf of that business too.

What this site is

Kochi Directory is an independent directory covering Kochi and the Ernakulam district of Kerala. It currently holds 299 entries: 49 private businesses and 250 public institutions. It is not a government website, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorised by any government body. A listing here is never the official page of the organisation it describes.

What “verified” means, and what it does not

Verification applies only to private business listings. It means a person checked three things before the page went live: that the business exists under the listed name, that the contact details given belong to it, and that it operates from the listed locality.

It is not an endorsement, a quality rating, a safety certification, or a statement that the business is licensed, solvent or competent. We publish no ratings and no review counts. Verification cannot be bought, and neither can any editorial badge.

Public institution entries are not verified. They are compiled from publicly available official sources as a reference for residents, and every such page says so.

Accuracy, and what you should check yourself

We take care over the data and correct errors quickly, but details change without notice — phone numbers, addresses, office timings, fees and document requirements especially. Before you travel, transact, or rely on anything here for a deadline or a legal requirement, confirm it directly with the organisation. We do not warrant that any listing is current, complete or error-free, and we are not liable for a decision taken solely on the strength of a listing.

Your dealings are with the business, not with us

We are a directory. We do not sell, supply, broker, guarantee or take payment for any product or service listed here. Any contract, transaction or dispute is strictly between you and that organisation. We take no commission on it and accept no liability for it.

If you submit a listing

• You confirm you are authorised to submit that business and that the information is true.
• You grant us permission to publish the details you provide, and to edit them for length, accuracy, spelling and house style.
• We may decline, amend, suspend or remove any listing at our discretion — for example if it cannot be verified, if the business has closed, or if the listing is being misused.
• Publication is never automatic. Every submission is reviewed by a person.
• Submitting does not create an obligation on us to publish, and does not create a partnership, agency or employment relationship.

Corrections and removal

Every listing carries a Report a problem link covering wrong information, permanent closure, duplicates, impersonation, spam and privacy requests. You can also write to admin.kochidirectory@gmail.com. If you are an organisation listed here and you want your entry removed, ask and we will remove it. We do not require a reason.

Acceptable use

• Do not scrape, bulk-copy or republish the directory, in whole or in substantial part.
• Do not use contact details from this site to send unsolicited marketing.
• Do not submit false listings, impersonate a business, or file deliberately false reports.
• Do not attempt to disrupt the service or circumvent its access controls.

Intellectual property

The written descriptions, editorial collections, page structure and design of this site are ours. Business names, logos and trade marks belong to their owners and appear here for identification. Factual details of a public institution — its name, address and published phone number — are matters of public record.

Paid listings

There is currently no published pricing and no payment facility on this site. Nothing here is an offer to sell. If paid placement is introduced, separate commercial terms and a refund and cancellation policy will be published before any payment is taken, and organic listing position will never be for sale.

Liability

The site is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit or business, and for any loss arising from reliance on a listing. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Ernakulam, Kerala, India have exclusive jurisdiction.
